Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has joined the chorus of outrage over the gruesome murder of Idowu Christianah, a 300-level student at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
Christianah's alleged killer, Ayomide Adeleye, a suspected serial killer and close friend of the victim, has been linked to multiple deaths, including his ex-girlfriend and blood sister in 2018 and 2020.
Ayra Starr took to her X page, condemning the heinous act and advocating for swift justice. "Stop killing us! Stop raping us! Women deserve better #JusticeForChristianah," she passionately wrote.
The singer emphasized the urgent need to address violence against women, stressing that they deserve better protection and treatment. Adeleye's disturbing history and Christianah's tragic fate have sparked widespread calls for action against gender-based violence.
